Introduction to Research Reflection

 

In the Honors 201 course, I participated in the library activity where we were taught how to find sources and evaluate them in an efficient manner. The information from articles could be organized by topic, author background, or where in a project the information will be used (Information Synthesis Level 1) Through this activity, I learned strategies to effectively evaluate sources to determine their credibility. These can be used to evaluate journals and determine potential uses for such information (Information Literacy Levels 1 and 2). Now that I gained the knowledge I did from the library activity, I am able to better find, evaluate and use that knowledge when it comes to research.
