Introduction to Leadership Reflection

In the Honors 201 course we completed a values worksheet. My top five leadership values from the values ranking worksheet include trustworthiness, morality, loyalty, pleasure, and family (Values Level 1). In my reflection I talk about how these values are demonstrated through my work as a Certified Nursing Assistant and play an important role in leadership. In addition, we took the StrengthsFinder Test by Don Clifton. When I took the StrengthsFinder assessment my top five leadership strengths include empathy, activator, developer, restorative and achiever (Values Level 2). In the assigned reflection paper talk about my interactions with those who have special needs and how my strengths are demonstrated through those interactions. Working with individuals with special needs and interacting with my peers on campus has helped me to further develop my strengths such as relationship-building skills while also honing in on problem solving and learning here at college (Teams Level 1). Overall, I try to use my strengths to help unlock other people’s true potential.
